Today I started an adventurous weekend in the Black Forrest. On my way I drove through France for a while, and on the fields I saw a lot of corn stocked behind huge grids. |
Unfortunately I was not able to find out, why the corn is stacked that way. |
So if you know, why the french stack their corn behind huge grids, tell me: info@teddy-tour.de |
Leter in the afternoon I reached my room for the next three nights. |
There was a lagre bed and free internet-access in my room. |
For dinner they served a Vespers-Plate... |
...and of couse a delicious wine of Baden. |
Here, in the Country Inn "Ochsen" ("Oxen") even our chancellor Angela Merkel spent the night in this house. You see, I only travel in the top league! |
Then the adventure began: Under guidance of the experienced instructors of 4x4-Adventures I drove my car into a giant gravel pit. Here my Land Cruiser had to proof what it is able to do. |
There were small hills with narrow turns... |
...there were huge slopes to descent... |
...and huge slopes to ascend. |
Finally I went to the "Entenköpfer" ("Duck-beheader"). Placed on the site of a former train-station I discovered this cosy country-style restaurant. |
In the garden there were funni statues which I could not pass without having a picture! |
In the "Entenköpfer" there were friendly girls in beatyful Dirndls, the traditional dresses, serving a delicious beer from Baden. |
My dinner started with a ramson-soup... |
...continued with an onion-roast accompanied by German spaetzle dumplings... |
...and ended with a vanilla icecream on hot raspberries. Delicious! |
Coming outside again, I discovered some ducks, and fortunately the were not beheaded! |
